Gluten Free Vegan Sloppy Joe Mac & Cheese
I imagine that at sometime in your life you've had a large sloppy Joe sandwich with fries. But today I am showing you how to make a gluten free vegan Sloppy Joe's. Comfort food in under 30 minutes! This Sloppy Joe Mac n Cheese takes the flavors of a Sloppy Joe and puts them in a big bowl of comforting pasta. The recipe makes 2 generous servings, but can easily be doubled or tripled to feed a crowd!
1/2 lb of vegan ground round (simmered) with
2 cloves Garlic
1 Green bell pepper, diced (about 1/2 cup), medium
3/4 cup Onion
1 tbsp Tomato paste
1/4 cup Tomato sauce
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 cups Rotini, elbow or corkscrew pasta can be used, dry (Cooked and add)
1/4 tsp Black pepper, ground
2 tbsp Brown sugar, dark
1/2 tsp Kosher salt
1 tbsp Vegetable oil
1 cup vegan Cheddar cheese with all the top ingredients and mix well in blender on chop for just a few minutes...do not let it get mushy.
serve on your favorite bun, mine is homemade and add tomatoes, lettuce, mustard and some ketchup.
